RetroAchievements añadirá soporte para Wii en marzo

La gente de RetroAchievements, que ya nos tiene enganchados con sus desafíos en consolas clásicas desde la NES hasta la PS2, ha anunciado la compatibilidad oficial con Wii ya tiene fecha fija y aterrizará el próximo 19 de marzo. La noticia nos ha dejado con el corazón dividido: estamos dando saltos de alegría, pero también llorando por la cantidad ingente de tiempo libre que se nos va a ir por el sumidero. No hablamos de cuatro juegos contados; el lanzamiento viene pisando fuerte con más de 100 títulos que ya integran este sistema de trofeos. Prepárate para rejugar maravillas como Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl o el siempre tierno Kirby’s Epic Yarn, pero ahora con ese «clinc» de logro desbloqueado que tanto vicia.

Logros para Wii en el horizonte

La lista es una auténtica locura y abarca de todo un poco. Tenemos desde los pesos pesados de Nintendo hasta rarezas como No More Heroes, Muramasa: The Demon Blade o incluso Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. Lo mejor de todo es que el equipo de desarrolladores y usuarios de la comunidad, como MeatBro, Guinea o AlexHylian, se han pegado una paliza tremenda para que títulos como LEGO Indiana Jones, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn o Metroid Prime 3 lleguen con desafíos a la altura de las circunstancias.

Para subirte al carro, la cosa no tiene pérdida. Solo necesitas tener una cuenta en RetroAchievements e iniciar sesión directamente desde el emulador Dolphin, que es el que hace la magia con GameCube y Wii. Dentro del programa, te vas a Herramientas > Logros, metes tus datos y listo. A partir de ahí, Dolphin reconocerá tus juegos y te irá chivando los progresos en pantalla. Es la excusa perfecta para desempolvar esos archivos que tienes en tu Steam Deck y darles una segunda vida con un toque moderno. Te dejo la lista inicial de más de 100 ROMS con soporte:
